- Sergeant Taras Kaduk (call sign Kadik) died on September 7, 2024 near the city of Novohrodivka in the Donetsk region. He sustained fatal injuries during enemy shelling of the positions. In August, the defender turned 27 years old. Taras was from the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. He graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk Vocational Construction Lyceum and obtained the qualifications of a carpenter and parquet layer. In civilian life, he worked as a driver-expeditor at the enterprise "Askania". He was passionate about basketball. During the full-scale war, the man served in the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade. He held the position of combat vehicle commander - commander of the parachute assault platoon. "My husband was an extraordinary person. Sincere, intelligent, brave, a good man, a loving father. He bravely defended the Motherland. Until his last breath, he remained faithful to his comrades-in-arms, his people and his Motherland. He honorably and with dignity fulfilled his duty as a citizen of Ukraine, a patriot in the defense of his state," said Tetyana Kaduk. The paratrooper was buried in the village of Chukalivka in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The warrior is survived by his mother, sister, brother, wife and son. Taras Kaduk was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
