Taras R. Zamlynnyi (Tsyhan)

42-year-old soldier Taras Zamlynny (call sign Tsyhan) was killed on November 13, 2022, during the assault and defense of the village of Pavlivka in the Donetsk region. The fighter received a fatal injury as a result of enemy artillery shelling. Taras was born and lived in Rivne. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. In civilian life, he was engaged in trade. He adored working with wood. Woodworking was his main hobby, from which Taras derived maximum pleasure. During the full-scale invasion, in March 2022, Taras was voluntarily mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 68th separate Jager brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. He was an assistant grenadier. On November 11, 2022, he last contacted his relatives. Since November 13, he was considered missing. Later, the body was found and identified. "Our Angel... You will always be in our hearts..." - wrote the fighter's wife Yulia. On May 1, 2023, Taras was laid to rest. He was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the "Nove" cemetery in Rivne. The defender left behind a wife and son.
