Taras S. Dovhun (Shershen)

Dovgun Taras Serhiiovych was born on April 13, 2003 in the village of Lapaivka, Lviv region. In 2020, he graduated from the Lapaivka Lyceum named after the Hero of Ukraine Heorhii Kirpa. He was on the front line since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. He fought as part of the 4th battalion of the 125th separate brigade of territorial defense. He died on January 26, 2023 as a result of a mine explosion while carrying out a combat mission in the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, saving the life of a fellow soldier. He was buried in the village of Maidan, Zhovkva city community, where his family is from.
