- Born on March 30, 1966, in the city of Vinnytsia. In 1983, he graduated from secondary school No. 11 in Vinnytsia. He studied at Vinnytsia Polytechnic University (now Vinnytsia National Technical University). He served in the ranks of the Border Troops of the Committee for State Security (KGB) of the USSR. He worked as the head of library branch No. 17 in Vinnytsia, then as a builder. He participated in the construction of churches and monasteries in the Vinnytsia region. In the winter of 2013-2014, he was at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv, where he was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity. He prepared food for the protesters. In 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a cook in the 25th Territorial Defense Battalion "Kyivska Rus" (since November 2014 - the 25th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion of the Ground Forces) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V0676). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was a participant in the battles for the city of Debaltseve in the Donetsk region. Call sign "Dido." On February 13, 2015, soldier Sych was killed in the area of the city of Debaltseve in the Donetsk region during a mortar shelling as a result of a direct hit by a shell in the cook tent. On March 27, 2015, he was buried at the Alley of Glory in the Central Cemetery of Vinnytsia.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
