- 31-year-old soldier Taras Dyadenko (call sign Americano) was killed in action on July 18, 2022, near the village of Verkhnya in Donetsk region. During artillery and mortar shelling, the warrior received injuries incompatible with life. Taras was born in the village of Nastashka, Kyiv region. He graduated from the Tarashchansky Technical and Economic Law College, where he received the specialty of an electromechanic. In 2015-2016, he participated in the ATO. After demobilization, he worked abroad. After returning, he got married. He got a job as an electromechanic at Auto Motor Service LLC, engaged in the repair and restoration of internal combustion engine parts. From childhood, he loved horses, adored horseback riding. In his free time, he loved fishing. He lived with his family in Irpin, Kyiv region. From the first days of the full-scale war, he stood up to defend the country. He fought as part of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. He held the position of gunner of the machine gun platoon of the 3rd rifle company of the 1st rifle battalion. "From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he again stood up to defend the Motherland. He always said on the phone: 'Who, if not us, will defend Ukraine and our children?' Taras was respected by his comrades, he always charged them with a positive attitude and optimism. Every morning, he made a roll call of his comrades, pitied the very young guys who had just arrived. On the phone, he told me: 'The guys are so young, they haven't seen life yet. And I've already seen something, I have a family - a wife, a son. And the guys haven't lived yet.' Even in the last minutes of his life, when the guys were carrying him out from under the shelling, the last thing he asked was if everyone was alive. And he was killed in action. Our Tarasik was very kind, cheerful, strong, brave, talented, devoted to his service. A man of his word, always helped everyone, had big plans for the future. He was a reliable support for his family, the best father, husband, son, brother, uncle. Every morning, he called his mother, and on July 18, 2022, his mother was waiting for a call, but no one called anymore. His mother says: 'Verkhnya, Verkhnya took my son forever!' A ruthless, cruel enemy stole plans, dreams... He took the life of a kind, sincere, hardworking person. A person who loved life, loved the country and fought for its will, freedom, until his last breath," said the deceased's niece Natalia Savchuk. The defender was buried in his native village. Taras left behind his parents, sisters Olena and Myroslava, nephews, wife Yulia, and son Danylo. Posthumously, soldier Taras Dyadenko was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
