Taras V. Yuzio (Bandera)

Soldier Taras Yuzo (call sign Bandera) died on October 22, 2023 during a mortar attack near the village of Bohdanivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 29 years old. Taras was born in the village of Okopy, Ternopil region. When he was 5 years old, he moved with his family to the village of Myshkovychi. He graduated from the local school, then obtained the profession of a tiler, painter, and plasterer at a vocational school. He traveled for work. In 2021, he got married. He dedicated all his free time to his family and tried to provide a comfortable life. In April 2023, Taras was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. He was a grenadier in the 21st Separate Battalion "Sarmat". "He was a bright, kind person, the best husband and father, a wonderful son and brother, a true, loyal friend and comrade. He really wanted to go home, but most of all he wanted to see his son, whom he didn't even have time to hug," said the wife of the fallen. The defender was buried in the village of Myshkovychi, Ternopil region. Taras is survived by his parents Natalia and Vasyl, his wife Halyna, son Demian, and brother Ivan.
