      • Born on April 24, 1981, in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. In 1996, he graduated from the 9th grade of general education school No. 17 in Ivano-Frankivsk, and in 1999 - from Vocational School No. 13 in Ivano-Frankivsk. From 1999 to 2000, he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a mechanic-driver in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On May 20, 2015, Junior Sergeant Shevchenko was killed by an explosive device while performing a combat mission near the village of Hranitne in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. On May 28, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery in the Dem'yaniv Laz area in Ivano-Frankivsk.
