Tymofii A. Antoshchuk

Antoschuk Tymofii Anatoliiovych was born on June 23, 1990, in the village of Shumbar, Shumsk district, Ternopil region. After finishing school, he enrolled in the Pochaiv Vocational School, specializing in "Computer Operator, Office Clerk". After graduating from the school, he signed a contract for military service with the Ukrainian Navy. He entered the P. Nakhimov Naval Academy in Crimea, and after the annexation of the peninsula, he transferred to the Hetman Petro Konashevych-Sahaidachnyi Kyiv Institute of Water Transport, where he received a degree as a ship mechanic. He lived with his wife and son in Ternopil. In 2015-2016, he was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation, defending the Donetsk direction. Later, he was demobilized and went abroad to work. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he returned to Ukraine. On March 8, 2022, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of deputy commander of a special forces unit. He fought against the Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv region and the Donetsk region. He was killed on November 27, 2022, during the performance of a combat mission near the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. He was buried on December 7, 2022, at the Mykulynets cemetery in Ternopil. He is survived by his wife and son.
