Tymofii V. Anikanov (Tekhno)

Timofiy Viktorovych Anikanov was born on April 18, 1980, in Kyiv. From the first days of the full-scale invasion by Russian invaders, he joined the volunteer battalion "Svoboda." He gained combat experience defending the city of Irpin. After the liberation of Kyiv region from the Moscow horde, he could not remain on the sidelines and, together with his comrades, was mobilized into the National Guard of Ukraine. As part of the 4th Operational Brigade named after the Hero of Ukraine Sergeant Serhiy Mykhailchuk, he went to Luhansk region. He bravely held the defense of the city of Rubizhne and desperately defended the city of Sievierodonetsk, where on May 24, 2022, in a fierce battle with the occupiers, he received injuries incompatible with life. In peacetime, Timofiy was a professional chef. Comrades remember how, under shelling, when the battles for Irpin were still ongoing, he cooked food for everyone. In the war, Timofiy became a medic. He was very attentive to his comrades, compassionate, and concerned about the problems of his fighting friends. A bright and honest person, a loyal friend, and a brave warrior. For his personal courage and selflessness demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, and conscientious and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people, soldier Timofiy Viktorovych Anikanov was awarded the Order of "For Courage" III degree (posthumously).
