Tymofii V. Boiko (Aiaks)

37-year-old soldier Tymofii Boiko (call sign Ajax) was killed while performing a combat mission on September 16, 2022 in the village of Pravdyne, Kherson region. The defender was considered missing for 10 months. Tymofii was born in Odesa. After finishing school, he entered the National University "Odesa Law Academy". After the 1st year, he went to the army. After returning, he did not want to continue his studies. He incredibly loved the mountains, the Ukrainian Carpathians, and traveled a lot. He held the position of prop master in the art department of the Odesa Film Studio. Immediately after the start of the full-scale invasion, on February 24, 2022, he volunteered for the front. He held the position of commander of a combat vehicle of a mechanized platoon of a mechanized company of a mechanized battalion of the 28th separate mechanized brigade. In June, he was seriously wounded, and after treatment, he returned to the front again. "He was big and kind. He always helped everyone, he thought that if he was asked for help, he needed to run and help, even if it was in the middle of the night. When we met him, he impressed me with his frankness and openness. The soul of the company, the first to rush to help, polite, always smiling - that's how Tymofii was," said his classmate Anastasiia. The defender was buried at the Western Cemetery in his hometown. Tymofii's mother is left behind.
