Biography
Vadym Adamovych Blishchyk was born on April 30, 1986. He had a twin brother. He served his compulsory military service in Poltava, holding the position of driver in the training unit of the communications troops, and then transitioned to contract service. In 2008, he participated in a peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. He served as a grenadier in the Ukrpolbat battalion. In 2009, he went to study at the NCO school in the town of Desna. A year later, he took part in international exercises in Romania. In 2011, he studied English for three months at the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi, and then spent three weeks on a business trip to the German city of Hohenfels, studying the experience of foreign colleagues at the multinational combat training center of the 7th Army of the US Armed Forces in Europe. He encountered the war in eastern Ukraine during the next rotation in the Balkans. He served in the management of the Western Operational Command, holding the position of sergeant-manager in the group working with the sergeant corps. Later, he returned to his native 30th Brigade and continued his service. During this time, Vadym Blishchyk obtained a higher education degree - he became a bachelor in physical education and a master in physical therapy. He was killed on August 14, 2022 in a battle with Russian invaders.Burial place
