- Vadim Anatoliyovych Isayev was born on March 5, 1997, in Mariupol, Donetsk region. In 2012, he graduated from Mariupol General Education School No. 2. The young man loved sports very much. Together with his friends, he developed the extreme sport of BMX trick riding in the city and participated in competitions in this sport. By profession, he was an electromechanic, but in 2017 he decided to try himself in the patrol police. Vadim immediately established himself as a positive, proactive, and persistent employee. His partner Ivan Semenenko said that Vadim was a legendary personality in the Mariupol patrol police: "He was a true police officer, a man of action, honest, open. It was easy to work with him, and after a while, we became good partners." "During his service, Vadim repeatedly saved lives. He was often involved in service in the area of the Joint Forces Operation. After the invaders' invasion of our country, Vadim did not hesitate to stay in the city and helped the residents of Mariupol until the last moment," recalled the deputy commander of the battalion, Oleksandr Chernov. "He is the person who saved my life during the war. It is very difficult now. He was a wonderful friend, the best son, a very responsible police officer," shared his colleague Amin Pasha. "Vadim was very cheerful, fair, and full of life; he loved life. He could tactfully and positively get out of any difficult situation. I will never have such a partner again. We will never forget him," remembered Vadim by his colleague Anastasia Pavlova. On March 12, 2022, Vadim Isayev was killed while defending Mariupol as a result of a tank shell hitting the building where the police officers were located. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Vadim Anatoliyovych Isayev was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
