Vadym M. Odud (Maestro)

Vadim Mykolayovych Odud was born in the village of Stara Chortoriya, Lyubarsky district, Zhytomyr region. Vadim Odud rapidly climbed the career ladder: in 3 years he became a major from a lieutenant, and from a platoon commander - a battalion commander. At the age of 26, he was one of the youngest commanders of separate military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he went through all the toughest battles with his battalion, first as a company commander of the 3rd mountain assault company of the 15th separate mountain assault battalion, and from September 2022 - as a battalion commander. Together with his unit, he defended the city of Rubizhne and the city of Kreminna in the Sievierodonetsk district, and later took part in the battles for the liberation of the Kherson region. He was killed on November 12, 2022 in battles with the Russian invaders during the liberation of the Kherson region.
