Vadym M. Rusinovskyi

Paratrooper Vadym Rusinovsky was killed on January 19, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Blahodatne in the Donetsk region. The life of the soldier was cut short by enemy tank fire. The defender was 53 years old. Vadym was born in the city of Kamyanka, Cherkasy region. After finishing school, he served in the military. Then he moved to the village of Rebedailіvka, Cherkasy region. In his free time, he was engaged in sports. He obtained a higher education degree from the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University by correspondence. Since 2014, the man has been fighting in the Donbas. He repeatedly carried out combat missions in the ATO/JFO area. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Vadym served in the ranks of the 46th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a gunner in the reconnaissance platoon. "Vadym was a kind and responsible person, motivated and patriotic. He was always ready to help. He proved himself to be a good comrade and a true soldier, fearless. Our hero gave his life so that we could live in an independent, free Ukraine! The whole community deeply mourns the death of our fellow countryman. The bright memory of the courageous defender of Ukraine will forever remain in our hearts," said the defender's friend and deputy head of the Mykhailivska Territorial Community, Oleh Bordiuh. "Nothing unites people like a disaster. Today it is one for all... War. For eight years, our country has been losing its best sons who defend us. Our people are experiencing the most tragic pages of their history. The heart is torn with sorrow for all those killed in this bloody and fierce war. The soul aches for the brave heroes who give the most precious thing - their lives, so that we can live. Unfortunately, for the sake of Victory, a brave warrior, a reliable comrade and a good person, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vadym Rusinovsky, perished. Eternal memory to the Hero!" wrote Andrii Riasyk. The warrior was buried in the village of Rebedailіvka, Cherkasy region. Vadym is survived by his mother, wife and niece.
