Vadym M. Svystunov

Born on July 27, 1982, in the city of Lebedyn, Sumy region. Graduated from a general education school, then from the Synivskyi Professional Agrarian Lyceum (village of Synivka, Lypovodolynskyi district, Sumy region). Lived in the city of Sumy. Mobilized into the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. Served as a machine gunner in the armored personnel carrier of the 8th rifle company of the 4th regiment of protection of especially important state objects of the National Guard of Ukraine (military unit 3024, city of Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On March 13, 2015, Junior Sergeant Svyatunov was killed while on duty at a checkpoint in Donetsk region. Buried at the Zasumskyi cemetery in the city of Sumy.
