- Sergeant Vadym Fedorov (call sign Ded) was killed by a bullet from a Russian occupant on March 25, 2022. During the defense of Chernihiv, the unit received information that an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group was operating in the Bilous river area. Vadym and his comrades-in-arms went there on a combat mission. He was killed in battle, covering his comrades. He was 53 years old. Vadym was born in Samarkand (Uzbekistan). After his father's death, the family moved to Ukraine. He received secondary education. He served his military service on a nuclear submarine. He was demobilized with the rank of petty officer. In civilian life, Vadym worked as a driver. He particularly enjoyed working with various equipment, including tractors. Since 2014, he was mobilized three times to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He went through the Debaltseve cauldron. In 2018, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces. Until his demobilization, he served in the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade. Two days before the full-scale invasion, Vadym was summoned to the military enlistment office, handed a summons, and ordered to wait for a call. On the morning of February 24, 2022, he was mobilized to the Armed Forces. "Vadym was a true father. We raised two sons. He loved them dearly, passed on his knowledge and skills to them, and taught them their favorite pastime - fishing. He was a man of his word, a man of action..." - his wife Olga said. Vadym was buried in the village of Bobryk, Chernihiv region. He is survived by his wife and two children.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
