Vadym S. Turchak (Malysh)

Soldier Vadym Turchak (call sign Malish) was killed on April 17, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. While rescuing a wounded comrade, he sustained fatal injuries during an artillery barrage. In two months, on June 21, the warrior would have turned 33 years old. Vadym was from the city of Nemyriv in the Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Nemyriv College of Construction and Architecture. Before the invasion, he worked at LLC "Ambar+". He devoted his free time to his family, especially his daughter, whom he loved above all else. In January 2023, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. He was a reliable comrade. He bravely went into battle and carried out combat missions. "For us with our daughter, he was everything..." wrote Anastasia Turchak, the wife of the fallen. The paratrooper was buried in the Nemyriv Central Cemetery. At home, Vadym was awaited by his mother, wife, and daughter.
