Vadym V. Havrysiuk (Shaman)

Gavrysiuk Vadym Vasylovych was born on September 17, 1998, in the urban-type settlement of Lokachi in the Volodymyr district of Volyn. In 2014-2016, he studied at the Volyn Regional Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training. He then entered the Odesa Military Academy, which he graduated with honors in 2020. From October 2020 to July 2021, he participated in military operations in the Joint Forces Operation in eastern Ukraine. During his military service, he made about 40 parachute jumps and received a certificate as a parachute instructor, and repeatedly participated in military parades. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was at the forefront, participating in combat operations in the Kyiv region: in Chornobyl, Hostomel, Bucha, Vorzel, and Irpin. Later, he was in the Kherson and Donetsk regions. He was wounded near the village of Bohorodychne in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region, and after treatment, he returned to the front line. On April 4, 2022, he was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, 3rd degree. He was killed on October 31, 2022, in battles near the city of Svatove in the Luhansk region.
