Vadym V. Obodinskyi

Soldier Vadym Obodinsky was killed on August 15, 2022, during battles with Russian occupiers in the Mykolaiv region. The defender sustained a fatal gunshot wound near the village of Myrne. Vadym was born in Vinnytsia. He obtained a higher education at Vinnytsia National Agrarian University. He was passionate about cars and loved to drive them, dreaming of a BMW. Since 2017, the man has served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He carried out combat missions in the ATO / OOS area. Later, he was demobilized and returned to civilian life. On the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion, Vadym went to the military enlistment office to return to the ranks and continue defending his homeland. He served in the ranks of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. "He was very kind, fair, always for the truth, the best. On February 24, he was immediately at the military enlistment office. And this damned war took him away... He always said he wouldn't let this filth get to us with the kids," said the deceased's wife Inna. The serviceman was buried in his native Vinnytsia. Vadym is survived by his mother, wife, son Vladyslav, and daughter Sofiya.
