Vadym V. Pomaz

Combat medic Vadym Pomaz died on July 16, 2024 as a result of the detonation of an explosive device dropped by an enemy drone near the village of Orikovo-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 26 years old. The warrior was born in the Cherkasy region. He lived in the village of Lukashivka. After graduating from the local school, he obtained the profession of a welder at the Cherkasy Vocational Lyceum. He worked as a loader at the PSP "Veselyi Khutir". Vadym defended the country as part of the 37th separate motorized infantry battalion. He was a combat medic in the motorized infantry unit. He held the rank of soldier. "My beloved was a sensitive, loving, caring person. He helped everyone who needed it. He loved life very much. He was a reliable support for his parents and for me," said the warrior's wife Tetiana. The defender was buried in the village of Lukashivka, Cherkasy region. Vadym is survived by his wife, parents and four brothers.
