- Soldier Valentyn Krynytskyi (call sign Boxer) was killed on October 13, 2022 near the village of Ozarianivka in the Donetsk region. During a battle with the occupiers, the defender was burned alive in an APC as a result of a direct hit by an enemy missile. He was forever 33 years old. Valentyn was born in the city of Pervomaysk, Luhansk region. He studied at the local school No. 10. He obtained a construction profession at the Pervomaysk Vocational Lyceum. He served his compulsory military service at the training center "Desna" in the Chernihiv region. Then he graduated from the Irpin Institute for the Training of Church Ministers. He lived in Odesa, later settled in the city of Vasylkiv, Kyiv region. In 2022, he enrolled in a Kyiv university, specializing in "Architecture". With the start of the full-scale invasion, on March 7, 2022, the man joined the ranks of the Holosiivskyi Territorial Defense of Kyiv. He took part in the liberation of the Kyiv region. Then he underwent training in the United Kingdom. And later, holding the position of a mechanic-driver, as part of the 5th separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he went to defend Donbas. He took part in the battles for the city of Soledar. "Valik was a bright, decent, courageous person. Always brave. Always went forward - to victory. He loved his Motherland. He dreamed of liberating his native Donbas and his hometown of Pervomaysk," the mother of the fallen said. The warrior was buried at the Forest Cemetery in Kyiv. Valentyn is survived by his mother Olena Yevhenivna, wife Tetiana, daughter Vanessa, brothers, sister, and other relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
