Biography
Prisich Valentyn Romanovych was born on August 11, 1994 in the city of Vinnytsia. He was the only child in the family. In 2001-2011, he studied at Vinnytsia School No. 30. From childhood, he was a curious and intelligent child. At school, he was interested in history, geography, foreign literature, Ukrainian and foreign languages. In 2011-2022, he lived, studied and worked in Lviv. In 2012, he entered the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv to study German philology. In 2014 and 2015, he underwent internships in Germany. In 2013, he also began distance learning at the Faculty of Journalism at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. He worked in trade with German-speaking countries. He took IT courses and aspired to become a business analyst. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Valentyn was a volunteer. He participated in hacker attacks on enemy websites. He helped in fundraising and organizing military transfers for the 80th Airborne Brigade. In early May 2022, he went to the military enlistment office on his own and enlisted as a volunteer. He then underwent training as a combat medic at the 205th Training Center for Tactical Medicine. In June 2022, at his own request, he was enlisted in the 95th Airborne Brigade, where he took the position of a combat medic. He participated in operations near the village of Dovhenke, in the Izyum counteroffensive, and in the operation to liberate the city of Lyman. He was killed on September 17, 2022 by a sniper's bullet, falling into an ambush during an operation to deoccupy the Lyman district of Donetsk region. The funeral with military honors took place on September 25, 2022 in Vinnytsia, in the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.
