- Marine Valentine Konovalov (call sign Miller) was killed on June 10, 2022, in the Kherson region. While performing a combat task, he was seriously injured by shrapnel from an enemy mine, on which a comrade-in-arms blew up. Doctors tried to save him, but the warrior's heart stopped. He was to turn 25 years old in July. Valentine was born in Crimea. In his childhood, he moved with his family to Rivne region. He stuwas killed at schools in Zdolbuniv. From childhood, he was fond of sports. He was engaged in weightlifting, won the title of master of sports. Later, he added hobbies such as grappling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He was friends with his future wife since school. After serving in the army, the couple got married. Since 2018, Valentine has served in the 1st Separate Marine Battalion. He was a sniper and performed combat missions in the JFO zone in Donbas. In 2021, his contract ended, and the Konovalov couple went abroad. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Valentine returned to his homeland and went to the military commissariat. Later, he joined the 73rd Marine Special Operations Center named after Koshoviy Otaman Antin Holovaty of the SSO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Valentine was very brave and responsible. He valued sincerity and openness in people. He always strived for more, always putting development first. He achieved everything he strived for. He reached the heights in weightlifting, passed the path of a marine full of trials, and with the start of the full-scale invasion, he became a special operations forces operator. Valentine said that one cannot stay away, that our strength is in unity, and that we can win only if everyone makes an effort, said his wife Sofia. The warrior was buried at the "Molodyozhne" cemetery in Zdolbuniv. Valentine left behind a wife, mother, and sister. The song "Chuty Hymn" by the Ukrainian band Skofka is dedicated to Valentine Konovalov.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
