Biography
Petruck Valentyn Vasylovych was born on August 6, 1997, in the village of Huta-Chuhorska, Kamianets-Podilskyi district, Khmilnychchyna. At the age of 18, he voluntarily came to the military enlistment office to participate in the war in Eastern Ukraine. Later, he signed a contract and served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Starting from 2016, he participated in battles on the Svitlodarsk Arc, in the settlements of Rubizhne, Popasna, Zolote, and Vodiane. He was awarded the Order of the President of Ukraine "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation". With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he performed combat missions as part of the 131st separate reconnaissance battalion, holding the position of a sniper-scout. He was killed on April 23, 2022, during the shelling with Grads near the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. The farewell ceremony took place on April 30, 2022, in the Staroushytska community. For personal courage and selfless actions, exhibited in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for his loyalty to the military oath, Petruck Valentyn Vasylovych was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Burial place
