Valerii A. Skorentsov (Skoryk)

Skorentsov Valerii Anatoliiovych was born in 1987 in the village of Fedirky, Svitlovodsk district, Kirovohrad region. After graduating from the 9th grade, he entered the Oleksandriia Vocational School No. 7, where he obtained the profession of an automotive mechanic. He continued his studies at the Oleksandriia Pedagogical College named after Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi, majoring in "Physical Education Teacher". In 2013, he graduated from the Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University named after Oleksandr Dovzhenko. He received a master's degree in the specialty "Physical Education Instructor, Physical Education and Valeology Teacher, Sports Section Leader and Tourism Organizer". From 2014, he worked at the Lyceum of Information Technologies. At the same time, he worked as a coach at the local patriotic-sports club "Zakhyst". From September 9, 2016, to July 27, 2022, he served in the separate special purpose unit of the Central Territorial Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine. Then he was transferred to military unit 3011 of the Central Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard, where he took the position of commander of the 3rd platoon of the operational purpose company on armored vehicles. He was killed in action on November 8, 2022, during the liberation of the Kherson region. The farewell ceremony for the fallen took place on November 11, 2022, in Oleksandriia.
