Biography
Krasnyan Valerii Ivanovych was born on February 20, 1971 in the urban-type settlement of Hlyboka, Chernivtsi region. In one of the interviews, Valerii claimed: "I was born in Bilorechinskyi, near Luhansk. In 1974, we moved to Bukovyna." He studied at the Hlyboka secondary school. In 1996, he joined the public organization "Tryzub" named after Stepan Bandera. In the autumn of 2014, he volunteered for the Aidar battalion. He participated in battles for the settlements of Shchastia, Vesela Hora, Metalist, and for the height of Savur-mohyla. He evacuated the wounded from the vicinity of Illovaisk. Later, he joined the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps, where he was appointed commander of the 2nd assault company of the 5th battalion. The company fought in the hottest spots - in the village of Pisky, Donetsk airport, and the Butivka mine. In 2015, he became the head of the Center for Assistance to ATO Participants. He was the President's representative on ATO participants' issues and an advisor to the head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration. He held the position of chief specialist in the department of the regional state administration. In 2020, he left the country with his family. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he returned from abroad and joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army in February 2022, and in the summer of 2022 - the 107th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in battles for Kyiv, Kharkiv, and the Kharkiv region. He was killed on November 23, 2022 during a combat mission in the Kharkiv region, having stepped on a mine. He was buried on November 27, 2022 in the Alley of Glory in Chernivtsi. He is survived by his wife, daughter and son.Military service
