Valerii I. Odynets (Odin)

Senior Sergeant Valeriy Odynets (call sign Odin) was killed on July 19, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Nevelske in the Donetsk region. He would have turned 46 years old on July 29. Valeriy was born and lived in Vinnytsia. He graduated from Vinnytsia State Technical University. In civilian life, he worked as a sales manager. He was passionate about cycling, fishing, volleyball, and river rafting, and spent his leisure time with his family in nature. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. During the full-scale war, the man took up arms again and went to the front. He served in the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He was a fighter of the 10th battalion "Polissya". "My beloved husband was and is my universe, my support and support in everything. I was behind him like a stone wall. He is the best man and father! He was a Man!" - said the wife of the fallen. Valeriy was buried in the Sabariv-2 cemetery in the Vinnytsia region. The warrior is survived by his wife Natalia, and daughters Nadia and Anna. The warrior was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
