      Valeriy Mykolayovych Oshkalo was born on November 24, 1967, in the city of Rovenky, Luhansk region. He lived in Cherkasy region. He served in the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was killed on March 12, 2022, in an air battle over Kherson region while carrying out a combat mission.
