Valerii P. Bedeliev

Bedelyev Valeriy Petrovich was born on June 18, 1978, in Melitopol, Zaporizhia region. With the onset of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine in March 2022, senior soldier Valeriy Bedelyev was called up for military service in the ranks of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine as part of mobilization. He proved himself to be loyal to military duty and the Constitution. He consistently fulfilled his official duties and assigned tasks diligently, demonstrating initiative, perseverance, high organization, and discipline in his service. On October 7, 2022, the armed forces of the Russian Federation shelled the territory of the military town of the 5th border detachment of the State Border Guard Service near the village of Slavgorod in the Sumy region from helicopters. As a result of the shelling, Bedelyev Valeriy Petrovich was killed.
