Valerii V. Herovych

Born on April 20, 1973, in the Turka district of Lviv region. Graduated from high school. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Lived in the village of Novoyurivka, Novobuzhskyi district, Mykolaiv region. In July 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a senior gunner in the 79th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0224, Mykolaiv city). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 3, 2015, soldier Herovych was killed near the village of Krasna Polyana in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. On November 5, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Maksymivka, Novobuzhskyi district, Mykolaiv region.
