Valerii V. Hliebov (Akhil)

Glebov Valerii Vasylovych was born on October 3, 1970 in Okhtyrka, Sumy region. With the start of the ATO in Eastern Ukraine, he went as a volunteer. He rose from a soldier to a captain. From the first day of the full-scale war, Captain Valerii Glebov defended Okhtyrka, participated in the liberation of Trostianets in the Sumy region. He then held the position of company commander of the 93rd brigade "Kholodnyi Yar", fought near the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region. Together with the battalion's servicemen, the company commanded by Valerii Glebov fought for a week for an important intersection near Bakhmut, holding the defense of the city. He was killed on November 24, 2022 during a mortar attack near the village of Pidhorodne, Soledar community, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. The farewell ceremony for the officer took place on November 28, 2022, the military was buried in the Uspensky church. Valerii Glebov was buried in his native Okhtyrka.
