Valerii V. Kravchenko (Pysar)

Valerii Kravchenko (call sign Pyskar), a machine gunner, was killed on November 29, 2022, while performing his duties in the area of the settlement of Novosilka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 37 years old. Valerii was from the Dnipropetrovsk region. He lived in the city of Pershotravensk. He graduated from Lyceum No. 2 in the city. He worked as a passer-by at the Stepova mine. He raised two sons and always tried to find the time to teach them everything he knew and could do. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man defended his native country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. He participated in the defense of the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. "We are very saddened. He was a good dad, a good son, an honest person. At work, in 14 years, no one said a bad word about him..." - said the late's ex-wife, Halyna. The defender was buried in the village of Malomykhailivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Valerii is survived by his mother, two sons, relatives and friends. Posthumously, soldier Valerii Kravchenko was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
