Valeriia Ye. Formaliova

Valeria Yevhenivna Formalova was born in 2000 in the city of Rubizhne, Luhansk region. After graduating from secondary school, she studied at the Luhansk State Medical University, obtaining the qualification of a pharmacist. After the start of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), she moved to the city of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 2019, she went to the front, became a combat medic, and defended her native Luhansk region. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, she was at the forefront. At the front, she held the position of a combat medic as part of the 17th separate Kryvyi Rih tank brigade named after Kostiantyn Pestushko. She was killed on April 16, 2022, during shelling near the village of Novotoshkivske in the Luhansk region. Together with four defenders, she entered a dugout after a shift change, and a shell hit it. The farewell ceremony for the deceased took place on April 23, 2022. Valeria Formalova was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Central Cemetery in Kryvyi Rih.
