Vasyl I. Chubak

Chubak Vasyl Ivanovych was born on December 24, 1967, in the village of Mushkatіvka, Borshchiv district, Ternopil region. He worked as a taxi driver. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he took up the defense of the Motherland. He served as the commander of the 2nd platoon of the machine-gun platoon of the 3rd mechanized battalion of military unit A 4053. He received a severe injury - a penetrating shrapnel wound to the head, an explosive injury. He was taken to a hospital in Dnipro on April 27, where he died on April 30, 2022. He was buried in Borshchiv. He left behind a wife and two children.
