Vasyl S. Tsyb (Mekhanik)

Tsib Vasyl Serhiiovych was born on May 8, 1994 in the village of Budy in the Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the local school and then moved to Kryvyi Rih. For three years, from 2014, he participated in the ATO/JFO zone. He was a representative of the NGO "Maidan" at the local level. Having combat experience, with the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, he headed to the front. He held the defense with his comrades-in-arms and his father Serhii Ivanovych in the southern direction of Ukraine. He fought in the Mykolaiv direction, and then he and his father were transferred to the Kherson direction. On September 3, 2022, the position where Vasyl and his father were located was covered by a mortar attack. The defender's father carried the body of his son from the shelling site, trying to save him while he was still alive, but the wounds were incompatible with life. The funeral took place on September 7. He is buried at the Central Cemetery in Kryvyi Rih.
