Vasyl V. Leliv (Lvivskyi)

Vasyl Vasylovych Leliv was born on June 10, 1986 in the village of Volossyanka, Lviv region. In 2004, he graduated from the local school. Then he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he worked as a ski instructor. In 2015, he was mobilized to the ATO. He served as an artillery spotter in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. After demobilization, he worked abroad. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he volunteered to defend his homeland. He served in the ranks of the 125th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, holding the position of driver of the anti-tank platoon of the fire support company. He was killed on January 17, 2023 in the area of the urban-type settlement of Zarichne, Donetsk region. He was buried in the cemetery of the village of Volossyanka, Lviv region. Vasyl is survived by his father, sisters, brothers, wife and two sons.
