Vasyl V. Paziun (Kumets)

Born on July 17, 1970, in the village of Chovnovytsia, Ovruch district, Vinnytsia region. Since his school years, he lived in the village of Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka, Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district, Kyiv region. He graduated from the secondary school in the village of Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka. In 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a grenade launcher in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit V0927, cities of Sievierodonetsk/Lysychansk, Luhansk region). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Kumets." On May 7, 2016, soldier Pazyun died of cardiac arrest during combat duty at a checkpoint near the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region. He was buried in the cemetery of the village of Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka, Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district, Kyiv region.
