Vasyl V. Voitovych (Vasylovych)

Voitovych Vasyl Vasylovych was born in 1971 in the village of Vychivka, Zarichne district, Rivne region. From 1978, he stuwas killed at the secondary school in his native village. After his studies, he served in the military for a term. In 1992, he was appointed as an electrician in the operational response team of the Zarichne power supply company. From that time until 2022, he held various positions, from dispatcher of the operational dispatch group to chief engineer. In January 2022, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was assigned to the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, where he served. He was killed on March 25, 2022, as a result of an airstrike while carrying out a combat mission in Mykolaiv region. Farewell ceremonies for the defender were held on March 31, 2022, in the village of Zarichne and in the village of Vychivka of the Zarichne territorial community. He was buried in his native village of Vychivka.
