Vasyl Ya. Myniv

Vasyl Yaroslavovych Miniv was born on January 4, 1984, in the village of Dovzhky, Stryi District, Lviv Region. After graduating from school, he studied at the Bolekhiv Forestry Technical School, specializing in "Forestry and Landscape Gardening," after which he worked at a local woodworking enterprise. From June to October 2016, he participated in the war in Eastern Ukraine. In November 2019, he took the position of inspector for the protection of the natural reserve fund of the Butyvlian Forestry of the National Nature Park "Skole Beskids," and on February 1, 2022, he was transferred to the position of nature protection master. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as part of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel. He was killed on March 13, 2022, during a massive artillery shelling near the city of Popasna in the Luhansk region.
