Zents Viacheslav B

Vyacheslav Borysovych Zents was born on August 10, 1974 in the city of Rozhyshche, Volyn region. In 1981-1989, he studied at school No. 1 in Rozhyshche. In 1990-1991, he served in the airborne troops. At that time, Vyacheslav received the highest award among paratroopers - the maroon beret. The right to wear it is only granted to those servicemen who have undergone trials and tempering, physical exertion, psychological and spiritual exams. In 1992, he studied at the Manevichy Vocational and Technical School. Participant of the Russian-Ukrainian war. In 2014, he volunteered for the front, as part of the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade. He went through the hottest spots: Marinka, Pisky, Debaltseve, Popasna and Donetsk airport. The full-scale Russian invasion caught Vyacheslav in Poland, where he was working at the time. But without hesitation, he left his job and went to defend the integrity and sovereignty of his country, holding the position of a grenade launcher assistant in the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was sent to Bakhmut, and later to the Kharkiv direction, where he bravely defended the Kharkiv region. In the village of Ternova on September 10, 2022, he reached our borders with the Russian Federation and raised the blue and yellow flag there. He died on February 25, 2023 during a tank shelling in the village of Hryanikivka, Kharkiv region. On March 2, farewell to Vyacheslav took place in the city of Rozhyshche. He was buried in the Alley of Glory of the city cemetery of Rozhyshche.
