    • Biography

      In 2002, Vyacheslav Hryhorovych graduated from the Military Institute of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (now the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine) and subsequently served in officer positions in the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and in the National Guard of Ukraine.

      On August 24, 2014, around 6:00 PM, a column of the National Guard of Ukraine, moving along a designated route, fell into an ambush by separatist militants. Vyacheslav Grigorovich sustained fatal injuries, and due to intense shelling, his comrades were unable to retrieve his body from the battlefield. He was identified through the results of a forensic molecular-genetic examination among the bodies delivered to the morgue in Zaporizhia.
