Viacheslav M. Kanishchev (Siava)

Soldier Vyacheslav Kanishchev (call sign Syava) was killed on September 1, 2022 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Peremoha in the Kharkiv region. The defender was 35 years old. Vyacheslav was born in the city of Lutsk. After school, he obtained the profession of electrical engineer at the Lutsk Vocational Technical School. He worked in his specialty. He was married. He lived in the village of Lyubitiv, Volyn region. In his free time, he loved to fish. He participated in the ATO. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man again stood up to defend Ukraine. He served in the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. He held the position of senior mortar squad leader. "He was a good person. A kind and gentle man. He loved life and work. People respected him. It is very difficult to experience the loss of a husband. The commander and all the guys who remained alive come to the grave of the Hero," said the wife of the deceased Tetyana. The defender was buried in the village of Lyubitiv. He is survived by his wife, mother, and two children from his first marriage.
