Viacheslav M. Kolesnychenko (Kolos)

Soldier Vyacheslav Kolesnichenko (call sign Kolos) was killed on July 16, 2023, during the assault on enemy positions in the area of the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 43 years old. Vyacheslav was born and lived in Kyiv. He graduated from school No. 8. He worked as a driver-expeditor at a private enterprise. In his free time, he loved to read and listen to rock music. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 25, 2022, the man joined the territorial defense of Kyiv. Later, he became a serviceman of the 129th battalion of the 112th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Until April 2, 2022, the hottest period of the defense of the Kyiv region, Vyacheslav bravely defended his native city. In early May 2023, he went with the unit to defend Bakhmut, where he fought his last battle. "Slava was an honest and kind person. He joined the TRO after moving his family to a safe place. A good father, husband and son," said his wife Olga. The defender was buried at the Berkovetsky cemetery in the capital. Vyacheslav is survived by his parents, brothers, wife and two sons.
