  Vyacheslav Oleksandrovych Matviyiev was born on December 9, 1965, in Dnipropetrovsk. During the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he served in the military as the commander of an anti-tank section of the anti-tank platoon of the fire support company of the marine infantry battalion of the 36th Marine Brigade. He was killed on March 27, 2022, in battles with Russian occupiers in the city of Mariupol, Donetsk region.
