Viacheslav P. Serniuk (Hospodar)

Sergeant Vyacheslav Sernyuk (call sign Master) was killed on June 17, 2023 while performing a combat mission due to an explosive injury in the village of Blahodatne, Donetsk region. The defender was 37 years old. Vyacheslav was born in the village of Horodets in the Rivne region. In 2003, he graduated from Vocational School No. 29 in the village of Volodymyrets, where he obtained the profession of electrician and welder. In civilian life, he worked as a laborer. He was engaged in beekeeping and loved to fish in his free time. In 2014-2015, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). He was awarded the "Veteran of War - Participant in Combat Operations" and "Participant in the ATO" badges, as well as the "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation" award. During the full-scale invasion, he again stood up to defend Ukraine, joining the 68th Separate Rifle Brigade. He held the position of commander of the unmanned aerial vehicle unit. "He was fair, honest, and courageous. The best dad, husband, and son. He never feared difficulties," his wife Iryna said. The warrior was buried in the village of Svaryni, where he lived. Vyacheslav left behind two daughters, a wife, a mother, and a brother.
