Viacheslav V. Dudnyk (Malyi)

Soldier Vyacheslav Dudnik (call sign Malyi) died on November 2, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Andriyivka in the Donetsk region. During the evacuation of wounded and fallen comrades, he himself sustained a fatal injury. On March 11, the warrior would have turned 27 years old. Vyacheslav was a native of Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv region. He studied to be a tractor driver at the Bohodukhiv vocational school. He was passionate about cars and their repair. He worked as a loader at the Saltivskyi meat-packing plant in his hometown, and also worked part-time in the forestry. Since he was the breadwinner of the family, he was looking for more earning opportunities. During the full-scale war, Vyacheslav defended his loved ones and the Motherland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. After several concussions, he transferred to the medical corps. "Sensitive, kind, always rushing to help. A loyal friend, brother, and comrade. It's a pity that this damned war takes the most precious... He will forever be 26," said the deceased's cousin Alina Horbenko. The military was buried at the Peremozhanske Cemetery in Bohodukhiv. At home, Vyacheslav was awaited by his parents, sister, relatives, and friends.
