- 25-year-old senior soldier Viacheslav Kryvonis (call sign Sarmat) died on December 5, 2022 near the village of Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region. In a battle with the enemy, he received shrapnel wounds during an artillery barrage. Viacheslav was born in the village of Kantelyna, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from a rural school. He then obtained the profession of plasterer-painter at Vinnytsia Higher Vocational School No. 7. He started working even in his student years to support himself. After graduating in 2016, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the ATO/JFO for 2 years. After demobilization, he earned a living on construction sites in Kyiv. At home, he did everything with his own hands and always learned when he couldn't do something. On the second day of the full-scale invasion, the man, as a veteran with combat experience, returned to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 11th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade. "Slavik was a true patriot, always honest, fair and courageous. He was ready to do anything for his family. A real positive person in life, but at the same time he thought about the future. A loyal friend, a good comrade and a person who would never leave you in trouble. He really wanted a son and spent so little time with him. Maksym was 2 years and 8 months old when Slavik died," said the wife of the fallen warrior, Sofia. The hero was buried in his native village, which he loved very much and always wanted to live there. At home, Viacheslav was awaited by his parents, wife, son, sisters, grandmother and other close relatives.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
