- Junior Sergeant Vyacheslav Zyryanov (call sign Zirian) was killed on July 6, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region. The defender was 44 years old. Vyacheslav was born in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmilnytskyi region. In 1996, he graduated from the local secondary school No. 15. In 1999, he graduated from the Kamianets-Podilskyi Industrial Technical School with a specialty in "Installation and operation of electrical equipment of enterprises and civil structures". In 2005, he obtained a master's degree in finance from the Ternopil Academy of National Economy. He worked abroad as a courier and driver. He loved life, work, recreation in nature, fishing, treasure hunting with a metal detector, adored animals and constantly helped shelters. The full-scale war caught the man in his hometown. Lacking military experience, from the first days he stood up to defend his country. This was a firm and conscious decision that none of his relatives could influence. Vyacheslav joined the 87th separate battalion of the 106th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From a private, he rose to the rank of squad commander and received the rank of junior sergeant. "Everyone who knew Vyacheslav (Slavunia) remembers him as a sincere, reliable, courageous, extremely fair and always smiling kind man. A loving son for his parents, a kindred soul for his brother, a beloved husband, a beloved son-in-law, a faithful friend and comrade... He had many plans for the future, dreamed of victory and promised to return only with it, but could not... The Russian invaders cut short his life. For me, he was not only a beloved husband, but also the best friend," said the wife of the fallen warrior, Natalia. The defender was buried in the Memorial Alley of Glory of the city cemetery in his hometown. Vyacheslav is survived by his parents, brother, five nieces and nephews, and his beloved wife. He was posthumously awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the City of Kamianets-Podilskyi".Memory Platform 'Memorial'
