Viacheslav Yu. Nalyvaiko (Muzykant)

On April 4, 2022, during the battles for Mariupol in the Donetsk region, senior soldier Viacheslav Nalyvaiko (call sign Musician) was killed. His unit was carrying out the task of evacuating civilians. When a comrade-in-arms was injured, Musician returned for him. Both was killed. Viacheslav was born in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region. He graduated from the Dnipro Mining Academy. He worked at a mine. He participated in cycling competitions. He loved traveling and adventures. He played the guitar. Since 2014, the man has been defending Ukraine. He repeatedly performed combat missions in the area of the ATO. During the full-scale war, Musician was a fighter of the 74th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Slavunya was a very fair and devoted person. He always defended his views. He rushed to live, loved adventures, was an avid cyclist, loved music very much, played the guitar. He had many friends, but the most important thing in his life was his daughter," his sister Olena said. Viacheslav left behind his mother, daughter, sister, and nephew. Posthumously, senior soldier Viacheslav Nalyvaiko was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.
