Viacheslav Yu. Pochuiev (Sap)

34-year-old fighter Vyacheslav Pochuiev (call sign SAP) was killed on March 14, 2022, defending his native Kharkiv from Russian invaders. During a missile attack, the defender sustained fatal injuries. Vyacheslav was born and lived in Kharkiv. He studied at school No. 122. He then graduated from the Kharkiv Automobile and Road Technical School with a degree in "Construction, operation and repair of roads and airfields". He worked as a sales manager for automotive products. He was involved in sports, particularly football. He visited the gym, played chess, and loved to read. He tried to spend all his free time with his family. On the first day of the full-scale invasion, February 24, 2022, Vyacheslav left his usual life and volunteered for the special unit "Kraken". Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended Kharkiv. "One of my best friends, Vyacheslav Pochuiev, has was killed! He was killed defending our peace. He was killed from an enemy shell of the invaders! Vyacheslav will remain in the memory of my family as a true friend, a true patriot! Slavko, may the earth be soft for you! You are in our hearts! You are a Hero of Ukraine!" - wrote Denis Davydov. "A member of the Kron family has was killed. He loved freedom so much that he fought for it to the last and gave his life for it. He always urged to spend time only on the most important things. Both at work and in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vyacheslav showed courage and strength. Having a "white ticket", he took up the defense of Ukraine and the hero city of Kharkiv!" - stated on the Kron company page. The warrior was buried at Kharkiv cemetery No. 18. Vyacheslav is survived by his mother Anna, sister Oksana, wife Alina and stepson Oleksiy. A memorial plaque in honor of the deceased graduate was installed on the facade of school No. 122.
